Permanent hair restoration at Medicutis — FUE, Bio-FUE hair transplant with pre & post-operative PRP/GFC programme. Expert dermatologists in Pitampura, Delhi.
A hair transplant is the only treatment that gives you permanent hair. Your own DHT-resistant follicles are harvested from the back and sides of the scalp — where hair stays for life — and relocated precisely to where it has been lost. The transplanted hair grows naturally, in the right direction, for the rest of your life. No ongoing medication needed for the transplanted hair.
Why patients choose it:
Best for: Androgenetic alopecia (Norwood III–VII men, Ludwig II–III women), hairline recession, crown baldness, stabilised hair loss

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is the standard gold-standard hair transplant — individual follicles extracted with a 0.7–0.9mm punch, no linear scar, imperceptible dot scars invisible with any hairstyle above 0.5cm.
Bio-FUE is Medicutis’s enhanced protocol — everything FUE offers, plus PRP or GFC added to the graft preservation solution (improves follicle survival during the 6–8 hour procedure) and injected into the recipient scalp at the time of transplant (improves graft take and stimulates surrounding native hair). Better outcomes. Same procedure. Same recovery.

Month 9–12:
Mono threads for the scalp address something biologics can’t — the structural deterioration of the perifollicular tissue that surrounds each hair follicle. As androgenetic alopecia progresses, the connective tissue around follicles becomes fibrotic, and blood supply diminishes. Mono threads, placed in a mesh pattern, trigger sustained collagen remodelling in this tissue — rebuilding the structural environment the follicle needs to function.
Why patients choose it:
Best for: Androgenetic alopecia with perifollicular fibrosis, combined non-surgical programmes, post-transplant native hair optimisation

Good candidates have adequate donor zone density (permanent hair at back and sides), hair loss that has been stable for 12+ months, and realistic expectations about coverage. Patients under 25 are counselled carefully — transplanting before the final loss pattern is established risks the transplanted hair looking unnatural as loss progresses. We assess everything at a dedicated trichoscopy consultation.
Transplanted hair sheds at 2–4 weeks after surgery — this is completely normal (shock loss). New growth starts at 3–4 months. Visible density improvement at 6 months. Full result at 9–12 months. The result is then permanent.
Bio-FUE adds PRP or GFC to both the graft preservation solution and the recipient scalp — improving graft survival and stimulating surrounding native hair. Clinical data shows reduced shock loss and improved density outcomes. At Medicutis we recommend it as the default protocol — the results are consistently better than standard FUE.
Yes — and we recommend it. GFC and PRP monthly for 3 months post-transplant reduces shock loss and improves graft survival. Mesotherapy through month 9 maintains surrounding native hair. Post-transplant biological care is built into our Medicutis Hair Transplant Programme.
